MaxSil one-tonne bulka bags ready for wholesale supply at the Australian facility

    White label wholesale supply

The most plant available silicon you can put in a bag. Under your brand.

MaxSil supplies high PAS amorphous silica in bulk to fertiliser and agronomy companies who want a better silicon product without building a plant. Your label, our science, negotiable volume pricing.

    • 36 kg PAS per tonne (AAPFCO method)
    • 13 to 25x more plant available silicon than diatomite (Prof. Zed Rengel, UWA)
    • Certified organic. 100% circular.

    The fraction that matters

What plant available silicon actually is

Total silicon is not what a crop uses. Plants only take up silicon as monosilicic acid (orthosilicic acid, H4SiO4) dissolved in soil water. Most soils hold huge amounts of silicon locked in quartz and crystalline minerals that never dissolve fast enough to matter.

PAS is the fraction that releases into soil solution within a growing season, measured by the AAPFCO 5 day test (the US protocol for plant available silicon).

    Stronger stands

Stronger cell walls and lodging resistance.

    Stress tolerance

Tolerance of salt, drought and heat stress.

    Crop resilience

    Reduced pest and disease pressure.

    Phosphorus availability

Improved phosphorus availability by displacing P fixed on soil particles.

    Nutrient use efficiency

Better nutrient use efficiency. A grower managing 14,000 ha reported more than 40% urea reduction.

Grower experience is not a guaranteed outcome for every crop, soil or program.

From recovered glass to crop nutrition

How we convert glass into PAS

MaxSil production team beside a branded bulka bag and filling equipment
    1. 01

      Feedstock

Post consumer glass recovered through container deposit schemes, diverted from landfill and processed under an EPA end of waste code.

    2. 02

      Milling

Our patented process ball mills the glass to an ultrafine amorphous silica powder.

    3. 03

      Surface area

Amorphous (non crystalline) silica with very high surface area dissolves far faster than crystalline silica, sand, slag or diatomite.

    4. 04

      In the soil

The powder steadily releases monosilicic acid into soil water, the form roots take up, building a soil bank of silicon across the season rather than a one hit dose.

Patented IP. PAS independently verified (July 2023, AAPFCO method).

    How MaxSil compares

Every silicon product is sold by the tonne or the litre. Price the part the plant uses and the picture changes.
