Who is this for, what are they growing, and over how many hectares?
List what the grower applies now — pick from the common inputs list below or add a custom product. Tag each product N, P, K, S, Ca, Mg or Other; the MaxSil reductions apply to the N, P and K tags. Rates are product rates in kg/Ha; price is the landed $/tonne they pay.
| Product | Nutrient | Timing / Application | Rate (kg/Ha) | Price ($/t) | $/Ha | Total $ | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Current program total | |||||||
Catalogue prices are indicative defaults only — always overwrite with the grower’s actual landed $/t. Products with several nutrients (e.g. SSP) are tagged by their main nutrient, which is what the MaxSil reduction applies to.

Status codes as printed on the report: VL = very low, L = low, OK = within range, H = high, VH = very high. These drive the guidance notes in step 3 and print on the quote as supporting evidence.
MaxSil’s core claim: a lot of the nutrient a grower has already paid for is still sitting in the paddock — phosphorus locked onto iron/aluminium oxides, and applied nitrogen lost to volatilisation. Plant-available silicon competes for those P binding sites and improves N-use efficiency, releasing that value back to the crop. If the grower has soil tests, enter the numbers below. If not, leave it blank — this section is evidence only and never changes the quote.
| Nutrient | Total in soil (kg/Ha) | Plant-available (kg/Ha) | Locked / at-risk (kg/Ha) | Value $/t (fertiliser equiv.) | Indicative $ locked / farm |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Phosphorus (P) Locked on Fe/Al oxides |
|||||
| Potassium (K) Fixed in clay / tied up |
|||||
| Nitrogen (N) Lost to volatilisation - capture, not lock |
Locked/at-risk = total − plant-available. Dollar value is the fertiliser-equivalent replacement cost (P as MAP ~22% P; K as MOP ~50% K; N as urea ~46% N) — what the grower has already paid for that isn’t working for them. Referenced figures: Australian topsoils hold ~980 kg/Ha total P but only ~30 kg/Ha is plant-available at any time (CSIRO — Viscarra Rossel & Bui, 2016); only 5–30% of applied P is plant-available in the year of application, with iron/aluminium oxides locking up 70–96% within days (SoilQuality.org.au — CSIRO / State DPIs; CSIRO “Raiding the Phosphate Bank”, 1997); surface-applied urea loses 10–40% of N to volatilisation in warm conditions (GRDC Urea Volatilisation Guide; MLA). Evidence only — it never changes the quote.
What percentage of your land will you apply the new MaxSil program to this season? Most growers start across their whole operation; some prefer to phase it in on a portion of paddocks first.
The MaxSil rec. column is calculated per line from MaxSil’s published claim ranges (P 25–35%; N range set by the Claim basis below) using each input’s timing/application plus the tissue and soil tests — hover it for the basis. Click a recommendation to apply it, or Apply all. You can still fine-tune the reduction % or kg/Ha on any line.

MaxSil pricing comes from the quote (list price, manager discount and freight in Assumptions). Other additions affect the grower economics in step 5 but don’t appear on the MaxSil quote.
Defaults: N −25%, P −30%, manager discount 15%, freight $180/t. MaxSil rates and $/t prices are set on the product lines under Suggested Additions. Adjust per agronomy advice.
What do they harvest now, and what do we expect with MaxSil? Uplift default is a deliberately conservative 5% — set it to what you’re comfortable standing behind for this farm.
Leave yield or price at 0 to run a fertiliser-savings-only comparison.
Lock in the proof points: test before application to set the baseline, then check mid-season that the program is delivering. Reminder dates print on the quote and can be downloaded to the calendar.
Soil test price is ex GST and flows into the quote totals when ticked. The “Reminder” buttons download a calendar event (.ics) you can drop into Outlook / Google Calendar / iPhone, or forward to the grower.
Built automatically from the area and the MaxSil product rates in step 3 (rounded up to whole tonnes). Override a tonnage below if you’ve agreed a different quantity; $/t prices are on the product lines, discount & freight in Assumptions.

Quote valid 7 days from today. Prices ex GST; GST added in totals. Tonnage is rounded up to whole tonnes for bulk supply.
